What kind of background checks are required?PA criminal background, fingerprint and child abuse clearance.

Can I bring my little children along?Yes! You can bring your children along on the school bus and school van. We will install a seat belt on the school bus. You are responsible for providing your own safe and secure car seat.

How do I apply?You may apply in person at F&S Transportation, 37 S Main St Manchester PA 17345m Monday through Friday, between 930-430.

When will I receive a call for an interview?All applications are reviewed. If you are selected, you will receive a call for an interview.

Do I need a CDL?You will need a CDL for School Bus. Training is provided. You do not need a CDL for School Van.

What kind of drivers license do I need?You must have a valid PA drivers license.

Do I have to get a physical?Yes. You must pass a School Bus Physical.

Will my driving record be pulled?Yes. A PA full history driving record will be pulled. If you had a license in another state within the past 10 years, you must obtain a driving record from that state in order to be considered for employment.

What kind of schedule will I have?Drivers have an AM route and a PM route. Drivers must be available for two hour delays and early dismissals when they occur.

Will I be off for the summer?All drivers must be willing and available to work over the summer. After all volunteers are placed, you are off due to lack of work.

Will there be a drug test?Yes. Applicants are given a drug screen as a new hire and employees are subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
